Ray was amazing!

Ray L was excellent with a voice like an angel and amazing stage presence. The venue was very noisy while he spoke especially where we were sitting. People were loud and disrespectful while RL shared his inspirations for his song writings. Several fights and aggressive behavior of fans occurred taking away from the beautiful sining. Swearing and loud overtones of fans in our section yelling at each other! The seats are so steep that some were complaining too and so tight with little Room. RL was great but during the event fans getting into fights. 3 people were escorted out by security.

Rare Talent, Intimate Setting

Ray LaMontagne is that truly elusive talent that combines incredible song writing with passionate on stage performance. His music is so well loved that at times you're not sure if he's singing or the crowd is carrying the tune, but that's not because he's not delivering. In fact, just the opposite, his performance engenders the warmth of his lyrically themes. I have seen him several times and it never gets old and he never seems to tire. Add to his customary excellent stage delivery that it was in a venue of just 850 people and you have a recipe for a special experience. I highly recommend this ultra talented musician in any venue, but the Cabot somehow made him even better.
